This brown crocodile skin is of top quality and is in pristine condition.  From the roll top clasp to the croc covered frame, the rigid handle the beautifully constructed side panels and the base of the bag everything is in very shiny crocodile skin.  The side panels are very nice with the outer panels having large scale skin which open to reveal a small scale piece in the gusset.

The front panel has smaller rounded scales which increase in size as you look down the front panel.  The back panel has much larger rectangular scales.

The bag measures 27 cms/10.5" across and is 15 cms/6" high.  The base is 7.5 cms/3" wide.  The rigid handle is 42 cms/16.5" long and is perfect condition - so rare in a bag of this age.

Inside the bag is lovely pale tan suede which is edged in brown leather.  There is a twin open pocket to one side and a large zipped pocket to the other with a smaller open pocket below.  Inside there is an original mirror which is suede covered and has a croc tab to pick up.  There is just some minor damage to the tab attachment.

This is a fine example of classic 40s style bag!
