70s Black Crocodile Skin Bag with Chrome trim

Unusual shaped black crocodile skin handbag with a bit of a funky feel!  The bag is a bit more of a squashy shape and the skin is beautifully shiny and glossy.  The unusual fastening has a thin chrome band running around the edge which sets the whole thing off I think.

This is an unusual two handled black crocodile skin bag, which although is a classic 'A' line it is quite squashy and unstructured - the frame of the bag is hidden really by pouchy side panels.  I hope you will see from the photos what I mean as it is really difficult to describe.

The bag measures 10.5"/27 cms across, is 9"/23 cms high to the top of the clasp and is 4"/10 cms across the bottom width, but tapers to 1"/2.5 cms just below the top panel.

Attached to either side of this top panel are the two 1"/2 cm handles, which measure 17"/43 cms from edge to edge.  They are attached to the bag with small chrome towel rails - I know that sounds mad but that is exactly what they are like!  The clasp is the long crocodile skin covered bar with the chrome edging - you just push it back to open and press to close.

The fairly roomy black leather interior has the usual zipped pocket on one side and the open pocket on the other.

The bag is in lovely condition and is crocodile skin throughout including the gusset and base.

If you are looking for something a bit different in crocodile then this is the one.
